Artist guidance
Use this checklist before opening the portal. Complete, accurate information helps Wrexham Media review your release and gives radio teams useful context if it is approved.
Upload a genuine MP3 master at 44.1 kHz (44,100 Hz) or higher. 192 kbps or higher is preferred, although lower MP3 bitrates are accepted. Audio may be up to 1 GiB and uploads securely in resumable 8 MiB sections. You may also supply a radio edit and instrumental.
Artwork and press photographs can be PNG, JPEG or WebP. A press release can be supplied as a PDF.
Prepare the artist name, title and version, genre, label, release date, ISRC, UPC/EAN, language, writers, publisher and rights information where applicable.
Add a suggested introduction, track story, comparable artists, radio plug, biography and details of forthcoming releases, events or interview availability.
You must be entitled to submit and distribute the audio and have permission for the artwork and photographs supplied.
You must state whether the submitted recording was AI Produced or Not AI Produced. No answer is selected for you.
Review names, dates, codes and contact details carefully before sending the release for review.
A submission is reviewed by Wrexham Media. It does not guarantee approval, inclusion in WM–SDS, station download or airplay.
