Help and information
WM–SDS frequently asked questions.
Straightforward answers about preparing a submission, the review process and access for radio stations.
Who can submit music?
Artists and authorised representatives can use the artist portal to submit a release for Wrexham Media review.
Which audio files should I prepare?
New audio uploads must be genuine MP3 files at 44.1 kHz (44,100 Hz) or higher. 192 kbps or higher is preferred, although lower MP3 bitrates are accepted. Audio may be up to 1 GiB and uploads securely in resumable 8 MiB sections. Existing approved legacy formats remain supported.
Do I need to declare whether my track was produced using AI?
Yes. The submission form requires you to state whether the track was AI Produced or Not AI Produced. This information is retained with the track record and shown to authorised radio stations in WM–SDS.
Does submitting guarantee inclusion or airplay?
No. Every submission is reviewed. Submission does not guarantee approval, catalogue inclusion, station download, broadcast or airplay.
What happens after I submit?
Wrexham Media reviews the release and supporting information. If approved, it can be prepared for inclusion in the WM–SDS catalogue.
Who can access the station catalogue?
Catalogue access is intended for authorised radio-station users. Stations can request information about access from Wrexham Media.
What can authorised stations do?
Station users can browse approved releases, review available artist information, preview audio and download original files where access and permissions allow.
Where can I get help?
Review the submission guidelines first, then email info@wrexhammedia.com if your question is not answered.
